Saturdays game started out slow in the first with both teams having their first three at bats struck out or thrown out at first. The second inning held a similar pattern.

Another two and a half innings went by before the Emeralds again would score two more runs at the top of the sixth. Giving them a 4-0 lead going into the seventh.

The Canadians were making contact when up to bat but could not secure a spot on base.

During the top of the seventh the Emeralds secured their fifth run, with an out of the park home run. In the bottom of the seventh the Canadians managed to get multiple players on base, which equated to two runs scored.

The Emeralds entered into the final game of the series with the lead, and the Canadians were hoping to end it in a tie. The Canadians unfortunately did not have the outcome they hoped for, and the series ending 4-2 for the Emeralds.

Though this was not the outcome the Canadians were hoping for, for their home opening series, they fought hard, and the fans were out in full force to support. Their next home series starts on April 29, 2025 against the Hillsboro Hops.
